Now that fashion month has come and gone and we’ve finally caught our breath, it’s time to share our BaggedPerspective on what’s next.

SpringSummer 2026 is calling and it’s all about fresh visions, bold statements and those head-turning pieces that make wishlists grow longer by the minute.
Start curating now, your Christmas list practically writes itself.

It was a season to remember. Vogue called it the most eventful season in modern fashion history” and we couldn’t agree more. The front rows alone told a story: Kim Kardashian debuted her new pixie cut at Maison Margiela, Meghan Markle made an unexpected and royal appearance at Balenciaga and Bella Hadid made her quiet, confident return to the runway at Saint Laurent.

But the real spectacle? The grand debuts. Sixteen designers took their first bows at fifteen of fashion’s most storied houses, each reinterpreting heritage through a fresh, future-facing lens.
At Balenciaga, Pierpaolo Piccioli revisited the archives and recalibrated the house’s DNA for a new era. At Chanel, Matthieu Blazy built a bridge between classic codes and bold innovation, a dialogue between legacy and evolution. Louise Trotter made history as the first female creative director at Bottega Veneta, while Demna stepped into a new chapter at Gucci and Jonathan Anderson reimagined Dior with his distinct sensibility.

The takeaway? Heritage meets evolution. It’s a conversation that extends far beyond the runway, into accessories, eyewear, and handbags that dance between nostalgia and futurism.
And that, darling, is where we’ll be looking next.

Bold eyewear shapes from nostalgia to futurism

At BaggedPerspective, we’ve known it all along and now the rest of the fashion world is catching up: eyewear isn’t an afterthought, it’s the exclamation point of every outfit. This season’s mood is all about attitude and intention: from quiet luxury to bold, sculptural drama, the frame you choose defines the story you’re telling. SpringSummer 2026 is about seeing the world differently and your eyewear should do exactly that.

The era of microframes is fading, making way for bold, architectural silhouettes that frame the face like wearable art. Futuristic shields step into the spotlight with sleek, aerodynamic lines, offering a glimpse into fashion’s forward gaze.

Then comes the tortoise revival bringing timeless sophistication back into sharp focus. This season it returns with renewed depth: rich amber, dark espresso and notes of burnt caramel create a palette that feels both classic and indulgent.

Oversized sunglasses remain a statement, but exaggerated volume is out. This season, it’s all about sculpted proportion and intentional presence: big frames that shape the face, making impact through silhouette to create an effortless feminine vibe.

Color, too, takes on new dimension. Chromatic tints shift mood and light with every glance, while burgundy steps forward as the new black unexpected yet effortlessly refined.

The art of the carry

This season, handbags speak louder than ever, not through logos, but through shape, texture, and intent. SpringSummer 2026 celebrates the evolution of the carryall: from supple, sculptural silhouettes to structured pieces that double as design statements. The mood? Confident minimalism meets tactile luxury. Think craftsmanship elevated by creativity, where every curve, clasp and contour tells a story of purpose and personality.

The polished lady bag is officially back: sleek, structured and effortlessly sophisticated. Reimagined with modern proportions and high-shine finishes, these bags channel old-world poise with a contemporary attitude. Think quiet power, carried by those who know exactly what they want.

Texture takes on a new subtlety this season with the return of suede: velvety, refined and quietly indulgent. Whether in sandy neutrals or pastel tones, soft suedes bring a warmth that feels deeply personal. It’s luxury you can touch: sensual, elegant and timeless.

From raffia and woven leather to croc-embossed gloss and patent shine, texture tells the story this season. It’s all about depth and detail; surfaces that invite touch, craftsmanship you can feel and materials that blur the line between fashion and art.

Even as neutrals continue to dominate, spring introduces a soft whisper of color. Powdery pinks, muted lilacs, and butter yellows bring a refreshing lightness to the palette: a gentle contrast to the season’s sculptural shapes. These aren’t saccharine shades; they’re nuanced, grown-up pastels with modern edge.

SpringSummer 2026 isn’t about reinvention, it’s about evolution. A balance of legacy and newness, of detail and desire. From frames that shape a mood to handbags that carry more than essentials, this season reminds us that style lives in intention.
We’ll be watching and seeing it all, through our BaggedPerspective.

With love,
Evelien & Astrid
